People love to keep pets but generally pets are restricted to dogs and cats, fishes and birds. But there are people who keep pythons and guinea pigs and enjoy their company. I have just come across a website that gives interesting items about unusual pets.

Royal pythons make good pets, says a post. Royal pythons are cute, gentle, calm, long, harmless and easy to maintain. They need a house which can be a glass tank or a vivarium or even a plastic container. But they need fresh water to drink, rats and mice to eat and some place to coil themselves or hide, like branches of trees or some chips. When they shed their skin they should be gently bathed in warm water to help them.

Horses also make good pets. They should be groomed properly not only for them to look neat and clean but also to forge a bond between the master and the animal. Different types of brushes are available for proper grooming. The eyes, nose and other parts can be kept clean by using soft cloth or tissues or sponges. Horses need proper exercise to keep them fit and glowing. Their hooves have to be cleaned properly and gently applying medications and creams whenever necessary.

Guinea pigs are social and good natured. It is easy to keep them as pets. They have a life of only about four to seven years and they are small. They need a hutch in which the flooring is comfortable yet urine absorbent. Guinea pigs need proper food and water for them to grow up properly. They should have adequate exercise and they have to be taken outdoors for that. They also need toys to play.

Training puppies is an art. A well trained puppy grows up happy and normal. To begin with, a puppy should always be called by its name. He should be taught how to obey, to fetch and to sit and to behave himself properly. He should be rewarded if he performs well. He needs regular check ups and inoculations, medical tests, good food and water and exercise to keep him healthy and well.

Besides good food and drinks, it should be properly vaccinated and given physical check ups regularly. It should have proper exercise and proper grooming. Enrolling it in a puppy class is a good idea. Love, patience and time will ensure that the puppy is social.

Cats are very independent. They instinctively know how to keep themselves clean and neat. But they need masters to care for their safety and well being. They should be registered so that they have an ID and a tag which will ensure that they will reach home safely if they get lost.

Fresh and new blogs and posts on this website make interesting reading for animal lovers.
