In this article I am going to talk about what you can do to ensure that your foreign friend, girlfriend or fiance is not a scammer. There are a few very inexpensive ways to bring a little comfort to your heart.
Knowing that the girl is real is part of the whole dating experience. Unfortunately if you are attempting to meet someone from another country, it is something that cannot be ignored. Take my words seriously and ensure you know who you are talking too.
You are going to come across a lot of internet stories about scammers once you really get into trying to find someone from abroad. So make sure you use some of my suggestions or you will find yourself out of a lot of money, identity stolen, physically hurt or killed.
Ok now let us get into this. The first thing you want to do is ensure that you are using a recommended dating site. I highly recommend these two websites. Elena's Models and Kiev Connections are both scammer free and very reputable. You can't go wrong with these two.
Now if you are a little light on money or just don't want to use a reputable website, then you are going at it alone. Now I am hoping that you meet someone through a friend or family member. If not, then it is very important that you ask for her mobile number. No matter the financial situation almost every single woman in Europe, Russia and former Soviet Republics have a mobile. If she says she does not have one, then you should question her motives. Every woman that I talked to in the Ukraine immediately wanted to talk to me and would give me their mobile number. Even the poorest girls had numbers. Yet if a girl said no, then 100% of the time she turned out to be a scammer.
Now there is not one woman in Russia or former Soviet Republics that does not love gifts. They will expect you to send them gifts for the holidays. Knowing this, it would be normal for you to ask for a mail address. Yet some girls are very shy in the beginning and will not give it out. I would suggest waiting for about two weeks to a month before asking for her mailing address. If after a month she has not given you her address, then there is something wrong.
If you have an address of your girl in hand, then send her flowers. Most flower agencies offer a photograph service for $5.00 to $10.00 USD. They will take a picture of your lady receiving her flowers. For about $20.00 the flower agency will take a video of the event. What does this do for you? It will show you if the girl behind the photo is real and second it will validate that her address is correct. These are two things that you really need to know before proceeding with the relationship. I know of a few guys that were really disappointed after getting back the pictures. The pictures were of a different girl.
Lastly if you have doubts about your girl, then send an investigator out to take a look for you. You can find these investigators online. Some are expensive, but they will investigate addresses, phone numbers and even take pictures of your fiance, girlfriend or friend for you. They will let you know 100 percent if she is real or not.
If you are going to visit your fiance and have doubts, I recommend hiring a body guard to accompany you around town. I know a number of business men that use these body guards. Fees are negotiable and will give you a feeling of safety. Personally if I had this many doubts about my safety, I would choose to end the relationship. I was very relaxed and confident in whom I was meeting the first time I met my fiance.
