The thought of Maine will surely remind you of what they are most famous for. If there is one thing that this state can boast of, it is their great seafood fare. With the quality of the seafood here they have certainly made a name for themselves. These seafood are enjoyed not only by the people who live here, but people from all over as well. The farm grown clams, scallops, oysters, mussels, salmons and other sea food are exported to other states and countries.

One of the most popular sea foods in Maine is lobster. About ninety percent of all the lobster that is supplied in United States is caught in Maine. In fact they are so popular that there is a festival just for these crustaceans. However, that type of thing isn't all that rare in Maine. You will discover that there is also a clam festival, a chowder cook off and who knows what else.
