Yeast infection signs are a funny thing. Sometimes you will show all the classic signs and it will seem obvious. Other times you may be experiencing a number of seemingly unrelated, minor health issues, and you would never believe for one moment that it could possibly be signs of a yeast infection.

Yeast infections are typically caused by the Candida albicans fungus. This yeast is normally at harmony with the body and usually has a positive function. The delicate balance of yeast can get disrupted and cause infection because of several different reasons that we need to be aware of.

Yeast infections can cause so many different symptoms and you can go round in circles trying so many different diets and creams and antibiotics that you don't know if you are coming and going. The list of symptoms are endless, burning, itching, redness and so on. The list goes on and on but if you just suffered from one of these it would be bad enough but to suffer from all of them at the same time is horrendous.

Yeast infections have been around forever. They are caused by increased pH, elevated levels of sugar, allergic reactions, higher heat and moisture levels, and reductions in our naturally present bacteria. It's this bacteria that can be upset when we take antibiotics. Even if the drugs are for other ailments, they can destroy most of the bacteria that's battling the overgrowth of yeast.

Another item that makes it tough to find this info is the simple fact that it's been buried under an avalanche of prescriptions and over the counter medications - shoving the natural homeopathic options into the background. If medicine producers completely heal you, then you won't come back for more medicine! So it is in their own best interests to keep their products right in front of your face through advertising, while more natural solutions are ignored.

Plain yogurt has also been known as a great cure for a yeast infection. Yogurt is packed with "good bacteria" for your body. Good bacteria will help bring your body back into balance by getting rid of your infection. In fact for future prevention of yeast infections it would be a good idea to bring yogurt into your daily diet.
